You have the determination, just need to focus it a bit and take your time. I've made similar mistakes, I thought I could rebuild a transmission with zero experience and zero guidance. You can guess how much metal was on the magnet after the first drive.
Which transmission I want to rebuild my 6r80 haha.

If this was my car I would reinstall the stock injectors and CAI. I would then make sure the MAF was correct. New sensor? then I'd install the LU47's. If the MAF curve is jacked I'd tune the injectors. After the injectors are tuned then I'd install my CAI of choice and tune that.

At this point you will have a properly tuned fuel and air system.

Next I'd increase my borderline timing, then play with cam timing. I'd start with the numbers posted in this thread and use that as a base line.

If you have problems tuning the stock parts you know 100% it is a mechanical problem that needs tracking down.
Sounds good I’ll clean the garage and do this

it was an MMT6, I'd do another manual and if my MT82 ever starts dying I'll rebuild it myself but idk about an auto, way more points of failure there.

That brings up another topic. What condition is the transmission in ?
You never answered how many miles are on the TB ? How about the trans miles ?

I haven’t noticed it being weird or anything. I should probably do another fluid change on it.

Trans and TB have 133k miles

Top black PMAS hose clamp isn't positioned correctly or seated correctly on the rotary formed/blow molded plastic duct. Not a good situation, possible air leak post MAF sensor.
I don’t know why you think that but it’s seated fine. There is a groove in the plastic that the hose clamp is in. I can re do it tomorrow without it being in the car and it will look the same

That's wild they basically have the MAF sensor in the air filter. Surprised there isn't more turbulence.

Because of this picture:

The top worm clamp doesn't look seated right. The bottom one looks right, but the top one looks like it squeezed off the edge of the hard plastic and is pulling into the silicone coupler.

Seems odd given your issues with fueling.

The top hose clamp area towards the the front of vehicle appears hourglassed. It’s looks as though it’s slipped off the duct tube end. Your photo could just be the camera angle and some shadowing ?
This image appears properly seated on both ends.

Issues with fueling is not a mechanical issue with the cai atleast something I can control.

I’ll put it together for you out of the car. The silicon adapter is a little big and the plastic tube is at a weird angle and being pushed to the side to help with engine bay clearance

Edit: you have to remember I’ve already taken it apart once and the fuel trims had no change.
