OK. I was looking for the closed angles in PCM and cannot find them. I was going to email support.

What table numbers are they?
They aren't in the spreadsheet. Here is the auF #s

Here are the imrc angles in pcmtec:
IMRC angle considered closed (auF34574) [STOCK: 78] [18+: 57]
IMRC angle considered open (auF34570) [STOCK: 12] [18+: 19]

I had 1 too many search terms. "IMRC angle" works "IMRC closed angle" does not. LOL

Changes worked! No more imrc closing, no more codes, and no more power loss.

Tune and log attached

All the 18+ manifold threads on here locking out the IMRC and tdstuart the novice tuner with some help put this one to bed early.
This is fantastic to read. I’m still not a fan of the 18+ manifold swap vs. GT350 manifold swap for a few reasons.

If you have the VMP pigtails it'll work. Or it may not work. Need to put a few miles on it. Sometime those IMRC codes creep up on ya.

Haha I just copied what everyone else is doing.

I agree I still think the 350 manifold is the better swap choice. I think it has a better power potential + no need for imrc adapters or tuning to get the imrc to work.

Ya will have to put more miles on it to make sure the fix is proper. But what it was doing before is I would get one or two pulls with the imrc staying open then it would close and drop to the closed imrc mapped points, then throw a code later.

This time I did several pulls and imrc stayed open just fine.

As long as you fully plugged in the adapters it will be fine. Some dielectric grease never hurts.

Its worked fine on the Lund and JPT tunes so I think now that the tune SHOULD be right it should work right
