Some of these salvage yards don't know what they have. It's really a wide range of skill levels.

If they have not shipped it yet see if they can hold off until you verify.
If you have a Ford service department that you are comfortable with give them a call first thing Monday, like right when they open, tell them that you are getting a salvage part from a totaled Mustang and you want them to verify the car had the option.

Sometimes it takes their system a while to run the VIN. the system was slow the day I had them check.

Gotcha,

Yeah, my nephew is a Ford Mechanic here at the local Ford. I called him today before I purchased it and he was off. He tired to log in from home to look it up, but couldn't. I will definitely know first thing Monday when he gets to work.

That being said, I only held out for NAV because my '15 came with it and I often find myself in less than optimal cell areas for google or apple maps.
You can download google maps so they will work even without data coverage.

Alright, I think i have found one out of 2016 Lincoln MKC...

$350

Ran the VIN and it came back with Sync 3 and Select Plus Package $1100 which includes Navigation.

Looks to be in good shape from the pictures, just needs the correct brackets.

looks like that should work. You will need to use Forscan to update the APIM with your as built data.

I put my "as built" on my Sync 3 APIM and lost nav so I reverted it back. In reality there were only a couple settings that needed updating but mine came from a '17 Eco boost premium and I Have a '15 GT Premium. I loaded APIM as built data from a sync 3 car as-built.

That’s because You can’t use the same data from MFT on Sync 3. If you’re coming from another car, especially Lincoln change it all to match 16-17 Mustang with your options.

So, I'm in the process of doing the wiring, per page 1. I ordered my terminals from Mouser via the provided links. I attached the two 1924968-1 terminals to the wires for 6 and 19 on the ACM but something's not right. The 24 pin ACM connector seems to have the same female terminals as the APIM, but the 192968-1 terminals I have are male.

Am I missing something or did Mouser package the wrong terminal?

Yes. I did that on my side. I edited my prior post because it was worded poorly.
I actually found a VIN with my options and loaded that as-built from Forscan. Almost everything worked with the apim when I installed it except some of the reverse sensing features.

No, I pasted the wrong number from my harness build sheet. It should be 2035334-1. Most people aren't using Travelink so my typo wasn't caught until now. PM your address, I'll mail you some.

Now if I can find a Sync 3 bezel, preferably without the heating and cooled seat buttons.

There is one on Ebay, but $400+.. yikes.

More than I paid for the Sync 3 with Nav.

Rare and near unobtanium in a salvage yard. I would try Parts Farm because he had some Recaros awhile back or I would just call fordsvtparts and buy one new from Mike R. for $350

There are 2 clip types. One is Blue and one is yellow. Tasca parts has them.

The yellow clips are definitely these:

https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-clip-w717661s300

The blue ones should be these based on the description on the page:

https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-part...p-w714972s300/?c=aT1NVzE2NDEwNSZyPWxheWVyXzEw
Thanks. Given how easily these break, this should really go in the material list in the OP. They're cheap and if you have some on hand and don't need them, oh well.

I had this exact same issue, i should have informed HextallS550 back when I did the swap but I forgot to mention it. Since I didn't have time, what i did was just twisted and plugged in the wires directly into the connector and taped it so that it doesn't come out. While it isn't the ideal solution, i didn't have any issues so far. Almost put 10k miles on it since the swap.
