Which part, cheap ebay PCM's?

You HAVE to use a manual trans PCM when going to say a TH400, or any other aftermarket auto trans. a 6r80 PCM won't work in a 18+ period.

Now I'm confused. When were we talking about using a gen 2 PCM?

I know I can license and flash a manual strategy to an auto PCM. If it will run the car with a turbo 400 I am not sure about.

I would hope someone who had done the swap will chime in.

great, but, you can't flash any non-10r80 strategy to a 10r80 pcm. it ain't that hard to understand.

I have a 2022 Mach 1 with a 3.0L whipple, making about 650 hp right now. My 10r80 is having some issues, and I know it’ll just continue. This transmission is known to not be able to handle additional horsepower so I’m not surprised. I could get a built 10r80, but I figured if I’m going to do that, I could just swap to something else entirely. Or at least, if it’s possible.
Are there any other transmissions that I could swap to (automatic preferred)?

If you stay under 800whp, just have a set of Suncoast/GPZ clutch packs in it. It's easy to do.

I just had my 10r80 pulled to do a suncoast stage 2 and a circle D converter. Only issue I had was 4 to 5 felt like it was slipping. The shop found the bearing for the front pump damaged.

My car is a 2016 6r80 car. I now have a th400 using my stock pcm. @turnswrench same situation but 2018/10r80, went to th400 with stock pcm.

and I have a 2020 stock PCM 10r80 car, will be putting in TH400 soon (have all the parts). Tuner said just have to change the tune.
