Lurked a few and gathered some info, had a question as this hasnt been posted from what i can see, sorry if it has.... BUT


Is this possible? 5.0 or ecoboost? granted i have a eb as a DD but the 10spd is pretty bad ass! Very close to shift speeds and drive-ability as the 8spd ZF in my charger.

Anything is possible if you are willing to spend enough money. Economically feasible? Unlikely.

Sounds like a trade in would be more economical in time and money. I'm sure it would be cool especially because I like the 15-17 styling better still. But that sounds like a hassle. You also don't know what else the transmission interacts with like certain driving modes and such. Since it's a 10 speed, there's shift strategies and maps built into the computer etc. Do we even know if the 15 - 17 harness can even support that transmission? Would it see gear 7 8 9 and 10?

i recently traded my 17 base gt for a 18 Premium plus .... I paid 29k for it back in july of 16 and they gave me $27k for it. It was well worth losing $2k over. the 10 speed is amazing.

i'd like to see a gen 3 Coyote/10 spd auto swapped into a 2011-2014 body. retaining the solid axle. best of both worlds right there
