I'm lowered on eibach sportlines, with stock PP shocks. I've been lowered for probably 25k miles or so, don't remember exactly when I installed. This car is my daily driver on crappy CA roads, so it sees lots of bumps/potholes/etc. I installed a paxton supercharger about 6-7k ago, so I added some weight to the front of the car between the blower and intercooler.

Lately my suspension has felt dead. I feel like it bottoms out constantly, or at least that's how I describe it. Moreso in the front, but I also feel it in the rear sometimes. (that's what she said).

Are the springs not stiff enough for the added front weight? Are my shocks toast? Other ideas? Bumpstops were properly trimmed during install.

Sportlines are what I would call an excessive drop for the factory shocks. You blew them out, especially being lowered probably 1.6-1.7" in the front with the blower. Get some shocks designed for lowering springs.

Guess it might be coilover time.

After driving some more really concentrating on the suspension, I'll revise my previous statement. It doesn't feel "dead", but it does bottom out on dips/bumps in the front more easily than it has. The damping feels ok most of the time, but the front does feel a tad soft now. I still get the rear PP bounce. Small bumps it feels fine, but larger dips/bumps at speed compress the front a lot, most noticeably in the front left.

What shocks pair best with the sportlines? Or should I just go with steeda coilovers and a 275-300lb spring?
