I don't think Sport changes the Magneride, just the steering and throttle.

Basically I think the Magneride only has three real settings; Normal, Track and Drag. Everything else is Normal.

There is a difference between normal and sport+ magneride. I find it hard to tell sometimes, but people who have ridden with me can tell the difference.

I'd like to test drive a PP1 with magneride sometime to see how much of a difference there is between the PP1 and 2.

There definitely is a difference. Sport+ stiffens up quite a bit. My back can attest to it. Annoying too, imo, since you can't have sport+ settings without sport+ magneride settings. I'd like to have normal magneride with any drive setting. To add, the Ford Performance calibration really improved the feel.

Edit: I read Sport+ for both posts. As stated, Sport doesn't change magneride settings but Sport+ does.

I went from a bolt on 2015 GTPP with upgraded springs and suspension bits to a 2018 GTPP with mag ride. My 2018 GTPP with mag ride felt just as planted and more "sturdy" stock than the modified 2015. It 100% is not as soft or floaty as a regular GT. Mag ride cars have different front wheel bearings too.

Also if you have an A10, driving around in track mode will be obnoxious.

I had to go back and try Sport + again (manuals don't have Sport, evidently) and the Magneride is tighter than normal.

One interesting observation is that Track mode for the Magneride seems noticeably stiffer now that the car has 13,000+ miles on it, than it did when it was new. It's as if the shocks have broken in or something. A buddy that rode it in new, and then a few weeks ago, made a comment about the ride being stiffer.

Or, it's my imagination. Or, it's the tires being 1/2 worn.

Anyone else notice Magneride getting stiffer with miles? Especially in Track mode?
