Yes it is better than the base, but still needs mods to control the IRS movement.
True but for me a PP1 needs:

1. Camber Plates
2. Front SwayBar
3. IRS mods

to be the ultimate daily fun car to drive and inspire confidence.

The 1st thing a PP1 car needs is struts and shocks IMHO. Either FRP track strut/shock or equivalent.

If you need more than -1.5 deg camber than the camber plates. I went through Angeles Crest Highway here in Los Angeles, the car was phenomenal with the FR Track kit.

And last gen of NA V8...lovely car. Considered it before getting the s550 but the rod journal issues scared me a little. It's a collector's but it will require lot of TLC and $$$ to mantain
Actually the E92s M3s are pretty stout. The rod bearings seems to have affected about 2-3 % of the cars affected and throttle actuators at about 60k miles. Easy fixes. Rod bearings can be done for around $2k. The later 2011 cars had different bearings but still I would switch out to BE or VAC bearings.

I'm happy with the PP1 shocks and struts as I said but for sure some better Strut/shocks will help for the car to perform better no question about it because after all that is a heavy car.

A Mustang GT PP1 car can out drive 90%+ of the drivers driving them. Just saying!! :D

It was more about feel of the car, didn't feel confidence inspiring to me as it does now.

Maybe I got scared a bit easily but my s550 feels pretty balanced and confidence inspiring after the few mods I did to her so no regrets 😉
