No one saying there’s anything wrong with ESS but it’s not always an option. seeing as how ESS does not have a legal supercharger system you can’t run it legally in any state. Some states you can’t run it at all Cant even ship it there. The more established companies have a carb legal kit

Oh. I guess you could do that but it's not necessary unless you want the dedicated belt drive. If you're not experiencing belt slip you actually doesn't need that. @Jackson1320 says that you can upgrade thr regular stage 1 belt drive to an 8 rib If you want to ask about it.
Yes sir. I have a Carb legal kit that has been converted to 8rib. If anyone needs a list of parts and part numbers just ask

if a system is carb legal in stage 1 or stage 2 and you start with the stage 1, you can upgrade it to a stage 2 and keep your carb status

How are you going to keep the carb status with stage2 if carb requires the stock air box?

Converting the carb legal kit or the H.O kit to 8rib can be done for $800-$900

I've been reading about the Kenny Bell superchargers. They look quite effective

Yeah I thought the same too. Looks like they put out serious HP. But I'm sure others here have more knowledge on them.

I had a Kennebell on my 2004 Cobra. It was a good supercharger for that car at the time. My current car has a Stage 2 2.9 Whipple. Im more than impressed with the Whipple and haven't had a single issue.

For the price and provided tune, a Whipple is perfect for street use, with occasional track day.

Twin screw superchargers are whipple and kenne bell
Twin screw superchargers compress air in the rotors, Eaton TVS superchargers provide more air and that air is compressed in the case.
This is likely part of the reason for the more instant response of a TVS and why twin screw performs better higher in the RPM range

All good choices, I really like that the Procharger is so easy to pully/belt swap. 5 minutes to change boost levels. Procharger runs really cool if you get the stage 2 also. P1X will go from 600-950RW, D1X bumps that up range by a 100 or so.
