It's the armchair drag racers who always jump in to say "X product is crap, this one is better". Better for who? If you're not a professional tuner or manufacturer of performance products....you can figure out how to finish this sentence.

JLT intake, SCT tuner, ARH system. I was honestly thinking going right to the s/c but the price of 5k+ just didnt sit well with me for a car that I have only made 1 payment on. That and needed to upgrade the clutch and tire size

Willing to bet if you buy from one of our dealers, they will have an SCT tune for you to use with the blower. :) So you can save the money there, and not have to sell it.

The ARH system will be fantastic with the supercharger. :)

We haven't upgraded anything on our company owned car yet, however adding a set of sticky tires may be in its future. However the clutch has no issues with the power.

No matter what, enjoy your car and modding it however you want!
Thats what its all about!

We have already made more then 650rwhp with ours as well.
Literally ZERO changes to the car, 100% as it comes from Ford.

We don't send systems out like that, because we are not chasing every last HP.
The boost level we send out 8psi (HO) and 9psi (STG2) is what we know is safe, safe, safe for long term use anywhere in the US on standard pump fuel.
(and the conservative tune to match it)

And yes, our customers have made over 700rwhp with exhaust changes as well.
I have already listed the two that I know of, I am sure there are more.
However I don't keep track of all the orders going out.

Correct dyno time costs $$$, and we know that.
Thats why customers can order our systems WITHOUT tuning, and save themselves plenty of $$$ to used towards custom tuning. :)
Then the customer is super happy, cause they are not only saving money, BUT getting a tune tailored just for their car. :)
Dude.....change your tampon! I was just letting the guy know there is more than one option.

Apples to Apples: Right out of the box!

Procharger msrp $6099.00 @550rwhp
Whipple msrp $7295.00 @650rwhp

Could use some help deciding if I should save up for the bolt-ons (mainly catback) and some suspension mods first, or screw it and just get a supercharger.

I haven't read through the comments but its hard to answer this question as we don't know what your goals are or your budget.

Good point. Budget is around 7-8k and I'm wanting to hit over 600. Don't plan on racing or tracking the car. Just having a fun daily driver. It's more of an "addiction" and making the things I own unique.

Right on, that's very achievable.

600 is something that you'll need to go F/I with, of course. A good set of tires, and a quality tune.. whether from a reputable tuning company or the company that provides the system would work!

I'd say definitely upgrade the suspension, axles, and traction before bolting on that extra 200 hp.

At least, that's the route I'm taking... I'm almost done with suspension, basic bolt ons, and chassis upgrades. Next will be traction and driveline, then procharger at the end of the year.

Well for that budget, you can get a ProCharger some Axles (just for piece of mind) and nice drag radials to put the power down to the ground. :)

Music to our ears. :)

However you can always start with the ProCharger kit as well, and then just add the other goodies as you plan to turn up the wick :)

Haha, definitely true, but I plan on road racing, so I'm build the car to use every ounce of power your charger can give.

Also, i really want the I-1 head unit w/ the stage 2 setup. Will this be available by the end of the year?

700 on 91 in all honesty is playing with fire and irresponsible.

That's my opinion with lots of supercharging experience on these cars.

The internals are better than the 11-14, but they aren't bullet proof.

Hell, most fully built engines we try to dial the customer back to right at 700rwhp on 93 for longevity and safety.

That's the problem with the net these days.

Look one car did this, it must be ok for every car to do it everyday and drive it for 50,000 miles like that..............

Just silly.

Wow, I think you need to consider a bit more. With our years of partnership with Ford, supplying superchargers for all kits for nearly 12 years, supplying the Super CJ and CJ's superchargers and working directly with engineers in Ford to understand what can be done.

700RWHP with a proper tune is not squeaking every last HP. The piston and rod combo is not even close to its max level. It comes down to the supercharger kit design, as 700RWHP with a Roush setup will be asking for issues vs a system such as ours.

It then comes to the PCM calibration, our calibration engineer is far more advanced than any of the other tuners or calibration engineers around. The levels of research, testing and customization done is second to only Ford Motor Company. We set the standard on the 05-10 4.6L 3v, passing durability testing (nobody in aftermarket does), we first sent the kits out at 500hp over the stock 300. After the competition over 2 years started to creep up close, we upped the power to 550hp over the stock 300. This was on 100% stock vehicles, durability tested and 100,000+ mile reliability. That's nearly 83% more power. We are now dealing with 75% power increases and its more reliable then some of the systems with 50% power.

Guessing at what power level something is safe or not safe is irresponsible. So if 650 is safe, what happens when they run at 40deg F ambient temp and the motor makes 50hp more? is the motor going to explode? Is that irresponsible? Or should the PCM actually limit the power to stay within fuel injector, pump and cylinder pressure safety zones? Our's does.
