Another yellow nanny sticker hater..Hair dryer for sure, would not use a heat gun to aggressive.

Best practice, slow as you go to keep from stretching the material.

I take it you've removed the sun visors for the soak part. Are they difficult to remove and reinstall? Any risk of breaking a plastic clip or something?
No, I left it in place and just flipped it forward so the wet side was up the upside. Goo gone doesn't seem to dry quickly and if you wipe your finger on the fabric you can tell when it was wet enough as it leaves kind of an oily reside on your finger.

The decal on the internal side of the visor (on the plastic vanity mirror cover) is proving more tricky, but that doesn't bother me as much as the one that faces outwards.

Drivers side visor is decal free on both inner and outer.

It's a UK car if that makes any difference to decal type / position / quantity etc :like:

I've just ordered a bottle of Goo Gone. I'll give it a try.
Once you spray on the goo gone, let it soak in for a bit to loosen the adhesive. Once you've removed the sticker, a spunge with the curly material for cleaning a teflon pan on one side worked best for me in getting the white adhesive remnants off the visor. Just go slow. I did sections at a time.

I'm surprised that the equivalent product to goo gone isn't available locally. It is nothing more than an adhesive remover. Turtle Wax has the same under their name. Any hardware or big box home improvement store will carry the stuff.

There are many adhesive removers available locally. I think I may even have one, which my wife used and was happy with. But the idea of using just any glue remover on the sun visor, especially as it's covered in textile material, makes me a bit uneasy. Dissolving and removing the glue is one thing, being safe for the underlying material is another. I wouldn't want it to cause damage to the textile cover, or to stain it, or to leave a persistent smell, or something like that.
A product that another forum member has already used with perfect results for exactly the same task, on exactly the same part, is the safest bet. :)

Mine too cracked the window,. Took the car to a buck thirty, with the visor and yellow sticker facing the window. The vacuum sucked em off.

The trick is to do one side at a time. :cwl:
