If you get a tune, they can quite down the cold start.

Running Kooks 1 7/8 catted headers with a Magnaflow comp catback.
Sounds pretty tits :)
Had a shop delete the bottle neck for me.

I have a few videos on youtube if you need sound clips

The headers actually don't sound super loud. How much louder would you say if got after the LT's ? Sounds really liveable for a DD even!

It's definitely liveable. Cold starts are a little loud, but I can creep in and out of a neighborhood just fine. It's LOUD at WOT but cruising you can still listen to the radio with the shitty stock speakers. If I were to go cat less I think it might be over the top though.

Other way around. Direct connect steps down from 3" to 2.25". bottleneck eliminator does not step down to 2.25 inch and includes an x/h pipe.
Oh ok i gotcha. Well hopefully i don't have any connection issues monday when the corsa arrives.

Arh is definetely the way to go OP...

What install times are you guys experiencing when you do the install yourself at home on jackstands?
Took me 5 hrs on the money with jack stands. Have plenty off swivel rachets and swivel deep impack sockets on hand.
And each to there own on using the suppiled header bolts or using as many factory exhaust studs. I myself kept the most forward and aft exhaust studs for ease of mounting it up and filled the rest in with the supplied bolts

you have 3 options if you want easy to make a full 3" connection and get rid of the 2.25" neck down point

stainless power, stainless works, or the arh.

the stainless power and works are exclusive to us here at www.teambeefcakeracing.com

we also have the arh available.

all 3 are top notch 304 stainless, you can't go wrong with any of them. we sell and install all of them

the ac bolt takes like 10 seconds. really not a factor in the decision proces

kooks are great headers, but only have factory connect that will fit the corsa

only the stainless power, works and arh will delete the neckdown

Installed the Stainless Power longtubes this past weekend. Took about 10 hours. Great quality and like Beffcake said the AC bolt is a non-issue, 5 second removal. Hooked up to Borla Stinger they are LOUD. I had Kooks on my Boss 302 and these are just as nice. No reason to pay more.

Got a couple of questions:

1. Have you guys ever recorded the decibels with headers? I live in Cali and kind of worried about police attention.

2. What kind of HiFlow header fits the roush active exhaust?

3. Hows the smell with HiFlow or offroad headers? coming from bmw with catless downpipes at a stop light, you cant even breathe. lol
