I’ve been happy with my caliper garage kit as well. I get faster every time and I enjoy the work. Doing it on cribs helps a ton so you can access everything without jacking up the car for every adjustment.

Only thing I still want to figure out is a steering wheel lock.

Nice. I’ve got 12” pedestals to put mine on as well. This was just my initial fit and floor leveling.

I have a question.

How do you safely get it on those stands?

I built the cribs for the height of my floor Jack. Jack from the side all the way up, place cribbing under those wheels and repeat for the other side. 3mins max.

OH, and lesson learned for anyone going out and getting the CaliperGarage kit...

The holes in their brackets are exactly 3/4" dia. This means neither 3/4" nor 1/2" pvc tubing will fit, nor will 3/4" conduit. Home Depot had some lightweight potmetal 1/2" conduit that worked great for me.

I like your high-lift door and LiftMaster opener, the only way to go! :)

I use 48" poplar dowel rods which are exactly 3/4" diameter. There are 3d printing burrs inside the brackets. I lightly touched them up with the largest round file I had in the toolbox, and then the brackets slipped on fine.

Hi everybody; I saw a few orders from this thread and figured I'd stop by to say thank you so much for all the support! It's an amazing feeling seeing your products out and about in the world.

I appreciate the feedback on tubing size, too. The kit was designed for 3/4" architectural 6063 aluminum round tube, but it's apparently not as common in some areas as I thought. The cool thing about 3D printing is there's no reason you can't tweak the design over time, as there are no injection molds or stamping dies to update. So, I've redesigned the alignment kits to now accept a few different commonly available types of tubing. I expect 1/2" EMT will be popular, but anything that fits in the groove should be just as accurate as the aluminum tubing I originally used. This updated design is already shipping, and existing unshipped orders will be updated automatically. I'll update the photography on the website this evening.

Thanks again for the support!
