Gen 3 cars seem to gain more with headers than gen2 cars.

I'd pass on the P1x kit BTW. LPF and boost works offer comp turbos and similar pricing. Then of course on3 kits, which is probably the most bang for your buck. If you're dead set on centri, Paxton/vortec.

What is the point of a 60-130 mph if you start at zero? I would think from a pure physics standpoint an object already in motion (accelerating) will accelerate faster than one running at a steady state mph then accelerating. Lol...

mainly for testing and comparison to before/after without having to deal with traction issues

The overwhelming majority of 60-130 times you'll find online start below 60. The idea is to take the launch/driver out of the equation. The drag strip is all about the launch, so a better driver will have faster times. 60-130 is all car, especially in an automatic.

I've kinda committed to a blower at this point with the headers, but what's your reasoning for a Paxton/Vortec over a Procharger? I was between a Procharger or Whipple...keep going back and forth. I don't really see much about Paxton/Vortec other than Beefcake's car.

More bang for your buck and better placement, unless you get the updated procharger kits that move the head unit to the passenger side.

First...thanks for your service. 22 year Air Force veteran here. Secondly, thanks for the post. I have a set of Kooks LTH waiting in the garage and also looking at E85 tune once installed. 1.5 second improvement is significant. Gives me even more motivation to get in the garage and install the headers!

Thanks, same to you! Yeah, the headers / E85 really woke it up. Feels considerably faster now.

Here is my 60-130 on pump gas at a disgusting 8500' DA, it's not my mustang though .

Anybody have 60-130's for their supercharged cars? I'd go test my 2016 with a Whipple/E85 but it's raining out this weekend.

4.61 is moving, what car? I saw a thread on here somewhere with FI 60-130 times, I think I remember most of them being in the 5’s. I’ll have some P1X/E85 times in a few weeks, I’ll update this when it’s finished.

Looking forward to your results!

It's an Underground Stage 3 Lamborghini with race heads. I'll get some better pump gas times (maybe c16 down the road) soon as I just moved the car to Vegas from Denver's terrible air and DA.

All of them
Why on earth does someone feel the need to jump in and post their results that are 100% irrelevant to this post? Wow. Cool story, your lambo is cool and fast!

OP - awesome stuff. I love seeing people testing and sharing results that are acceleration related, instead of dyno.

Keep us updated.
