Hey guys, I recently did headers and an E85 tune on my ‘19 A10 GT and wanted to see what differences there were at different stages. I’m not big on dyno numbers, I’m more concerned about how the car actually performs. For those of you that are interested, these are my best times for each:

DA was 5,500-5,700 for all the runs.

100% stock on 91: 11.59s
Kooks 2” catless headers/91 tune: 10.97s
Kooks 2” catless headers/E85R tune: 10.19s

I only did one pull on the E85R tune, so there may be more in it. I’m pretty happy with the results overall. Big thanks to Beefcake for getting me the parts quickly and to Brandon at Lund Racing for getting me the tune revisions within hours of every datalog I sent.

I plan on a P1X later this year, so I don’t know that there’s much more power wise I can do that won’t be removed/kinda pointless with the blower?

Nice! I didn’t think DA would make that much of a difference.

How's that a comparison?
Stuff like this always cracks me up. Comparison would be LT's with cats no tune. Which you'd be lucky to get a 1/10th improvement in times.

I guess I don’t understand your confusion. First time was bone stock, second time was tuned on 91 with headers. The point was to see the gains.

stock vs just long tubes is a comparison
stock vs long tubes + catless + tune is a pointless comparison.
stock headers + catless + tune vs long tubes + catless + tune would be an accurate comparison.
But I'm just nitpicking. Cheers.

For your runs are you starting at 60 mph or going from 0-130 and recording the 60 to 130? starting at 60 mph will be slower I think

Starting from 0, starting at 59 or 60 would for sure be much slower.

To put another way, I ran a 2016 GT with a no tune CAI and green cat headers all on the stock Ford tune. My numbers were darn close to the guys with tunes, CAI, and catted headers. Tunes are not as significant a gain as folks think. E85 tunes are a different story entirely.

According to his Original post he only stated the differences. You actually tried to compare them
