How it go at the track?I have the Eb with PP and I feel like it's neutral so far. Although I can get it to rotate with some throttle. I'll be at the track this weekend and I'll see what it does at the limit.
Are you saying this after driving both back to back at their limits? Which one do you own?GT entry and mid corner understeer. Power on oversteer easy.
EB less entry understeer, mid corner neutrality/ slight understeer with power on neutrality/slight oversteer.
Yes.Are you saying this after driving both back to back at their limits?
I'm really pleased with the car as it sits, but it needs better dampening and perhaps stiffer springs up front. At the limit it does plow with some understeer. How it go at the track?
How does it compare to your previous builds?
Thanks
Interesting you mentioned the Evo being "raw". That is the feel i'm after with this platform (im still on the fence between turbo or v6).I'm really pleased with the car as it sits, but it needs better dampening and perhaps stiffer springs up front. At the limit it does plow with some understeer.
With my evo you have grip 24/7, it's a very raw car. It's totally different, I think with a few simple mods this thing will be a beast.
A bunch of things make a car feel raw. One big one is noise. The mustang has so much deadening that you can't hear anything. This also adds weight, with the evo you hear the drivetrain noise, motor noise, etc.Interesting you mentioned the Evo being "raw". I'll ask you since you have the most experience- To get that "raw" feel would simple suspension mods/tuning and wheels/tires do it?
I am a true believer in more chassis than power.
Thanks for your input.
