Hate to burst your bubble but that won't help.
Why is that? It worked for my 2010 with sync? Did the 15's change?

They purposely lock out ABD programming of the APIM.
How do they lock it out? When I swapped sync into my 2010 we were able to access the APIM?

So read more into it.... Sure enough the APIM on MFT systems is the ONLY module that will not allow manual ABD entry.... :frusty:

That is fantastic. Thanks for doing the leg work on this. This is something i am interested in too. Just don't have the funds lying around to use for R&D.

Which screen is that?
This is an escape screen which could also be why these features are not working. Looking into programming methods now. I think if you got a mustang MFT screen then it would just be wiring changes needed.

I also can confirm that the screen WILL fit between the circuit board and dash trim. No cutting of the dash trim required. Working on finalizing my bezel now.

I hit a wall in the programming. I cant find any software out there that will let my into the ford modules...well none thats free anyway. I may pay the $32 for the FMP software, but my hope arent high for that. I can get data from the car and i can control the radio from my comp, but no luck on flashing

This is something I've wanted to do since getting my car a month ago.
I hoped there'd be SOMETHING out there by now... So thank you for not only doing this, but sharing.
I've seen component systems ( screen separate from unit) for Escapes and other fords and thought I'd could just use that...? I'm sure a wire harness would be needed and faceplate. Add an Axxes or like device to keep Sync ?
Is there a reason we can't? Seems so simple.
I'm not an automotive electronic guy, so be easy on me...lol.
