Sport mode is the worst disappointment. Unpredictable, unnatural weight build up. The extra resistance doesn't kick in until you've gone a bit off center, then it's like someone decided to throw some sludge into the rack. Or tie some cinder blocks to the front subframe.

Normal feels the most natural and comfort allows me to make the most accurate quick corrections and fast transitions. Sport weighting with comfort's linearity would be ideal, but Ford hasn't nailed that yet.

So normal it is.

Comfort/Normal are both fine for most stuff. Once you are going fast enough to test the road conditions I really think you need Sport for finer steering control, though. It gets heavy after a few hours on the twisties but let's just say sore arms > exploding.
You think it provides more control? I get the idea that added resistance allows you to physically work with the changing loads, but it feels artificial and completely unrelated to the car's speed, weight transfer, or front tires.

I feel way more confident in either other mode. Sport just makes me like to think I'm driving a 'manlier' car.

Older BMWs nailed heavy steering the natural way.

Call me oblivious, but I barely notice any difference between them. I just let it default to whatever goes with the drive mode that I'm in.

I don't really notice the difference either, but I was rolling around in Sport right up until I left for deployment.

Normal. I don't get enough time on challenging roads. Mostly all the roads around here are strait and flat.

Normal. I am no pro of any sort but I know I dislike Sport Mode in stop-and-go traffic. As I am slowing down, it sounds like I am preparing for some "race", just like one of those obnoxious youngsters in their little goofy-sounding Hondas.

But that's just me. My better half loves that mode in all conditions. :p

I keep it at comfort. The steering wheel feels DEAD. I'm a two finger driver and wnat all the power.

I came from an E46 BMW 330i ZHP and prefer the heavy steering, so Sport for me all the time!

Well it depends on how I am driving the car at a particular moment.

This, almost exactly. I even commented to my wife on our last road trip how wonky the sport setting felt. My 2014 shelby in sport seems way more precise, so the 15 was a let down.

To each his own. I prefer the feel of sport mode. I don't feel the "non-linearity" you both do. I think the steering feels great and precise.
