Greetings,
I have done several suspension upgrades to my 2022 Mustang GT Prem. A lot of BMR equipment. The last upgrade I want to do are shocks/struts and springs. I have decided to go with the Steeda Pro Action non adjustable shocks/struts and their minimum drop linear springs. I know there are a lot of different opinions on shock/struts and springs, but this is the best choice for me and what I want out of my car.
My question is this; Steeda also offers their Billet Rear Shock Mounts for around $270.00. Are these really necessary? Wouldn't the ones that came with my Mustang GT be sufficient? They are selling that their Billet mounts are stronger and base GT mounts can break. Which I believe, but again are the necessary? I will probably never be taking my Mustang GT to the track or drag strip, and my use would be for carving up some nice twisty roads and mostly daily driving in the Summers.
One last question; It shows that you can get the shocks/struts and springs pre assembled. Is this worth doing?
Please advise.
Happy Holidays!
