  1. SCT X4 Mach 1 Mustang Tuner w/ Steeda Certified Tune

I bought a Steeda tune with the 114 cai, and it definitely was worth it. Throttle more responsive and it did wonders to my 10r80 (looks like you have a manual), but just getting rid of that dead pedal was worth the tune. Steeda’s tunes are safe and solid.
  2. 275/30/20 Square Setup?

I have been running 275/35r20 squared for almost 2 years with .5" drop springs and absolutely no rubbing, my only question would be that 40 offset, my wheel are 20x9.5" +35, just not sure about +40.
  3. SCT X4 Tuner with Steeda Tune

I have a steeda SCT and tune I bought with their 114mm cai intake and it drives much better in every way, my only other motor mod is an x-pipe as well, it really smoothed out the 10r80. The only other tune I would consider is Wengard.
  4. Anyone ever do an SCCA Track Night in America event?

I have done Sebring in my SS 1LE, it was a blast, but that is a very rough track (lots of cracks and uneven surface), some very challenging turns there for sure.
  5. Do you think in the coming generations the mustang gt will be able to do 0-60 in the 3 second range?

I had a charger 392 Daytona that would do a 3.8 0-60, only mod was 305/30r20's, not even drag radials.
  6. Adjustable shocks - Steeda vs Koni opinions?

From my understanding the Streeda’s are made by Koni. I have the Steeda’s, but I have read many threads where members have said this.
  7. Air strakes installed on gen7 performance variation mustangs

I have not been able to find an aftermarket one. Tomorrow we are going to throw the car on the lift and see how difficult it would be to fabricate one. There are obviously some benefits there.
  8. Air strakes installed on gen7 performance variation mustangs

It is more noticeable than I thought it would be, and I guess reduced drag would probably be a better way of putting it. The engine seemed more relaxed (if that makes any sense) at 75mph on cruise control. This is on a 10r80 trans. All I did was post what I noticed and I do drive a lot and pay...
  9. Air strakes installed on gen7 performance variation mustangs

I forgot to mention there is a side mount fastener that you can not see in the pic that mounts to the side of the k-member where the bolt is, so it is pretty solid right there. The part # on the packing slip from Levittown Ford is PR3Z-9916A315-A.
  10. Air strakes installed on gen7 performance variation mustangs

It is forward as you can go, there is another subframe bracket that comes down and attaches to the k-member and blocks it from going any more forward. I have seen pics of two other installs, one trimmed the strake around the g-trac and one sandwiched the strake between the g-trac and ran the...
  11. Which oil ?.

I have run Amsoil 5w30 since new.
  12. Air strakes installed on gen7 performance variation mustangs

You are correct, it is how aerodynamics works šŸ˜‚
  13. Air strakes installed on gen7 performance variation mustangs

After taking a nice afternoon drive on a local interstate and some back roads out in the country, the difference is noticeable and measurable. It is not as noticeable as the gt500 splitter/fender extensions (they made a huge difference with DF and high speed stability, even my wife noticed how...
  14. Air strakes installed on gen7 performance variation mustangs

Totally agree, I have put more šŸ’° into rebuilding my suspension than any other mods. I am building my suspension for the hp/tq limits, I need it dialed in before the headers get installed, power is worthless if you can’t apply correctly. I even gave ford a detailed breakdown of the weak points in...
  15. Air strakes installed on gen7 performance variation mustangs

It was probably the easiest mod I have done yet, even with the g-trac modification. Watch the vid on Steeda’s website about the air strakes, Ford definitely spent some serious cash on the aero on the gen7 cars.
  16. Air strakes installed on gen7 performance variation mustangs

Without the g-trac brace, no alterations needed at all, fits perfect on the factory k- member on s550 and s650s. The work around with g-trac brace is fairly simple as described in the opening post. I have been studying up on aero lately and the positive impacts if done correctly are very...
  17. Air strakes installed on gen7 performance variation mustangs

This is mounted on an s550, the k-member is the same. My ride is lowered about a 1/2ā€, they do sit about 1/2-3/4ā€ lower than the belly pan, but they are made of a flexable rubberized material that would just flex on a speed bump.
