It was in another thread, I'll have to find it and link it
Evolvd,

Did you pull the fuse before your dyno? I wonder if i have to disconnect the negative battery terminal before the fuse pull! Apparently the abs kicks in during the dyno without a fuse pull. I was thinking track mode plus advance track off would be fine!

Yes I had to pull fuse 62 under the hood to disable ABS otherwise the ECU freaks out and pulls power.

No battery disconnect.

That's awesome and good luck! I don't have a garage right now so I need him to cooperate lol

Just do it this weekend. You'll be stoked on your ride:thumbsup:

Well my brother in law flaked again last night so I decided to borrow the tools and do it myself this morning. This was my first time installing the CAI or a tune so I spent awhile doing both making sure I followed all the instructions.

I was very apprehensive to do this because warranty, and just inexperience with tuning. So I decided I want to enjoy the most out of the car as quickly as possible.

Install totally straightforward and minimal tools needed. I had realistic expectations and the but Dyno didn't dissapoint.

I recommend this combination to anyone looking to add a little extra punch to their Coyote:cheers:

Congrats Adam. I was apprehensive as well with the tune for warranty but hey you only live once right. Bought the SCT from Steeda a few days ago and waiting for it to arrive. Will install CAI when tuner arrives and tune is emailed to me. Will have updates in my build thread and will post here as well.

Good job - so what's the next mod you'll tackle yourself? :headbang:

I did a CAI and SCT tune for my 2006 Mustang GT and now my 2015 GT.
I'm not worried at all about the tunes from Steeda or any of the tuner/sponsors on here such as Lund, Bama and Livernois.

Doing a tune is scary for me for one reason only. That is if something else goes wrong with the engine during warranty period they will probably blame it on the tune. But I can't recall ever seeing a post (not now or back in 2006 for my older GT) where someone said a tune from a reputable tuner ever blew up an engine.
I have the basic 36,000 mile warranty on my 2015 GT so once I get to that point I won't care anymore!

I did the restrictor-less tune for 91 octane and even without getting a dyno I can say for sure it really woke it up. My 2006 GT had an Airaid and SCT tune with 93 octane and I noticed it a little....but nothing like what I have now with the Steeda CAI and 91 octane tune. Big difference between stock and CAI/tune!

Also, maybe most of you have figured it out, but be careful once you have a CAI and tune. Wheels will break loose a WHOLE LOT easier. Especially in rain...watch it in rain or damp roads.

I'm not really sure, but if I had to guess it would be something from Steeda:D
