I'm sorry the thermostat

Interesting. That is such a tight area back there. Even taking off the bumper and turbo it wasnt that long of a process. I have gotten it down where I can take the front bumper off in about 10 minutes. I need to quit messing around with it and just drive and enjoy it.

On a good note, the new thermostat has really helped my temps. I also had a recommendation from my tuner to move my boost controller solenoid. I had it on top of my intake near the back. Turns out that was causing some false knock. I moved it and I get 0 knock now on 11lbs! :headbang:

The car is running real good on pump gas. The fuel kit will be here this week and I will start the switch over to E85! I hope to have it running this weekend on E85 and then start the tuning process over on E85. New dyno numbers in a few weeks:thumbsup:

To start I think I am going for around 800-ish rwhp. I would like to stay around 12lbs. of boost and just really get some timing in it. Im sure that will change once I get 800 and I will want more...

Are you going to build your bottom end?

Not unless I have to. I think the general consensus is around 800 on a safe tune should be good to go on these stock motors with E85...

Whenever I go FI, I will get ahold of a spare block to build up and have ready to swap out. Not a matter of IF, but WHEN.

Awesome write up. I wanted soooo badly to do another hellion kit but decided to take the safer route and get the roush blower and have it all under warranty.

I hear you.
I am consoling my self by saying it happened sooner rather later than I planned :headbonk:
Alluminator short block should ship tomorrow .
I am hoping to build the block coming out the Hellion car in preparation for the on3 car.
I hope I can take that one out intact though -may be I can sell it to you for your build .LOL

I started the E85 conversion and got a Fore Innovations Stage 4 Triple pump setup. I went to Beefcake for the setup and they got me an incredible deal and had it to me in just a few days!

First, some triple pump glory!!!

Then, got the old pump out and the new ones installed...

Started building and running the fuel lines...

Found a great place to tuck the Y-block for the feed in the driver fender well...

Motor shot, I still need to trim the cover to fit back on.

Regulator mounted on the driver strut tower

A little bit of advertising:cheers:

It just leaves the electrical for tomorrow which shouldn't take too long at all. Drain the pump gas out and pour some E85 and do some leak testing... I can't wait!

What kind of power are you looking for with that much fuel?
I want to be around 800rwhp. I'm not 100% sure on my future goals for the car so I went overkill on the fuel setup so I only have to do it once ;)

Do it once, do it right.
Exactly. Too many people try to push the limits with fueling. I like to think that alot of my past builds on previous cars stayed together because I always had an overkill setup for fueling...
