So I got a used twin 69mm, had to buy the y harness.. then went to bolt it on and it seems that there is some modification needed so that it doesn't hit the coil cover.

2015 gt with a roush 2300. The circled part in the image is coming in contact with the coil cover.

How close is the non clearance area? Are we talking a small amount of clearance needed?

When I talked to VMP about upgrading my Twin 60 mm T/B on my 2.3 Supercharger to the twin 69 mm, they said you would have to remove the supercharger and have it ported to clear the throttleblades..I was talking to someone on their live chat so not sure if this is accurate.

Apparently VMP doesn't know their own products.

After talking to another mustang owner with the same setup online..... you remove the coil covers and it fits fine!

Bolts right up, blades open up all the way.
Just make sure to get the reverse y harness if you are coming from a roush 2.3 L blower

That's good to know..When I talked to the VMP rep. it seemed like every question I asked they hesitated like they didn't know..Like I said it was a online chat so probably not someone from the tech department.
