I've had many Turbo cars from FWD manual to RWD manual and RWD auto, Blower cars in RWD auto and manual....my favorite is RWD Turbo with an auto for both the street and track.
More consistent and stable.

The dyno is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. Kinda bummed I didn't get a morning since its been hot here (90+), but I guess thats what correction factors are for...

The auto would definitely be quicker, was just wonder about durabilty. Probably last longer too. But I'd still prefer the manual if you could get away with it.

I don't know how commonly shared this is, but you need to be careful using correction factors on a Forced Induction setup. (Especially at altitude, where the correction will be even more so inflated.)

SAE/STD correction is designed for naturally aspirated vehicles only.

If a vendor is advertising data, and they are at elevation, their claim could be 20+ % inflated.

Great for business and selling products, terrible when the consumer can't replicate it at sea level, etc...

At the end of the day, I put very little faith in dyno data shared around the internet.

Take the car to the track, see what you MPH....to get an idea on HP output.

I'm back from the dyno! Pretty good day on the rollers. It was hot, 97 degrees in their shop so I am really happy considering those temps...

It was not as high of timing, I'm guessing due to the heat but it was not having any knock so I think the numbers are good to go. The tune is still kind of conservative but I wanted something pretty safe.

Low boost (5.5lbs) it made 533rwhp / 522rwtq
High boost (10lbs) it made 655rwhp / 643rwtq

I think in the end, I'm going to settle for 7ish lbs. of boost (550-575rwhp) for my everyday setting on 91 octane. Then throw a can of torco in and turn it up to 10/11 lbs and HAVE FUN!!!

That torque slaughters procharger's power even at procharger's much higher boost. Nice.

It is much better that's for sure! I made 525wtq on a Mustang Dyno at 8.8psi Not even in the same ball park with just 1psi more! Turbo rules!

Congrats buddy!

Torque is badass and on 91 octane ;)

Perfect street setup.

There's going to be lots of guys swapping to turbocharged setups in the future, as you can't beat the power band.
