Edit: I MEANT to post this in the "Cosmetic Upkeep" section..NBD I suppose.
------
Still waiting on some QD fittings from OG but I had enough to test out the CR Spotless DIC-20 for the first time yesterday on the other half's vehicle. (The Mustang was clean and covered.)
I rinsed, foamed, rinsed, hand washed, rinsed, and then did the DIC-20 rinse doing my best to get all the first rinse water off. Suffice it to say, the rig works as advertised. I also took Matt at OG's suggestion to dial down the Kranzle 1122TST to 600psi. No serious pressure needed for rinsing, and lowering the pressure conserves water which also means it conserves resin.
I intentionally took my time blow drying the car with the Max Blasster while normally, I would have been moving as quickly as possible to avoid spotting. A much nicer experience than in the past and I never touched her with a drying towel.
The only learning curve item for the DIC-20 is to make sure I have depressurized the rig so the remaining water runs out before storing. (It gushes if you don't.)
I'll close with another pitch for ceramic coating. Washing the vehicle was SO easy, the washing pad just glided over the surface and the rinse water rolled off like no tomorrow.
