Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I'm a little confused. Is Sport mode strictly a steering option? Or is it a drive option as well?

How do you engage these options? Is it just toggle switches? Speaking of a GT Premium with Performance Pack, if that's relevant.
It is a toggle on the premium. You have Normal, Sport+, Track, Snow/Wet.

In Sport+ the steering feel is stiffened, the throttle response is tightened up, and I think the traction control limits are increased, but not turned off (I could be mistaken here). On autos, the shift algorithm is changed as well - it will hold gears longer and such.

It changes the way advance trac reacts to traction/stability increases and also increases throttle response.

When you select Sport+ it also puts your steering into sport by default but you can change that independently.

Huh, interesting. Can't wait to get behind the wheel of one of these things!

Sport shuts off traction control, allows quite a bit more yaw so it doesn't impede getting rotation but will step in if the car rotates more than 50% ish.

That's interesting, you are correct according to the manual but my car spins the tires and goes sideways through turns in Sport Mode. I'll go try it later but if it's still active in Sport mode it is the most ineffective traction control on the planet. :D

I think Sport+ reduces the amount of babysitting, but does not kill it entirely.

At least down here it's completely flat so even in some storms it's not too bad. :headbang:

Traction control button, hit it once T/C off, hit it twice fast Sport Mode, hit it once and hold everything off. You will see it in the center display.

That turns off advance trac completely. Traction control is turned off by just hitting the switch once.
