What's CG refer to? Crankshaft gear or something? What's the benefit of that?
I live in Tampa. Parents are in Jacksonville. New Smyrna is kinda halfway between us.
Yeah I definitely think VMP is the way I'm going. Just seems lukes the stock tune might be lacking. I live fairly close so my intent is to have them install and dyno tune it.
Do you have any supporting mods? Oil pump gear?
From a few replies here and from some research on my end, it seems as if VMP is a better choice than Roush. Same basic package with slightly better hardware. From some other VMP threads, I've seen people post their dynos and the phase 2 seems a bit low. They claim 600+whp which is what I'm...
What makes you say OPG/CG (what's CG?) not necessary? From what I can tell, it seems as if it's just "insurance" so to speak, and even then it's only at risk if you rev past 7500? Are people getting their rev limiters raised via tune when they get their blowers installed?
I'm not opposed to...
I don't like the idea of a procharger just due to how the power comes on. Why do you suggest Whipple over Roush? I see a fair amount of people suggest Whipple. I don't want to get too crazy with power, so if the potential for more power is the only real benefit of the Whipple, that doesn't...
No, there's no warranty option with phase 2. Only phase 1. My warranty will have likely expired by the time I get this done, or will expire shortly thereafter. Warranty isn't a concern, the Roush just seems appropriate given what I'm looking to get out of the car. Admittedly, I haven't looked...
Hey all, I'm planning on supercharging my car in the semi near future. Leaning towards the 727hp Roush Phase 2 kit. Seems to come out to ~630RWHP which is right about what I want to shoot for. For context, this will be my daily driver. It won't see the drag strip. It won't see a track at all...
I love heated and cooled seats, and the memory feature is nice. But I do wish I had Recaros. I never even sat in them but I think I'd prefer them over the standard seats.
Thinking about getting lowering my car slightly. Mainly just want to get rid of the wheel gap, but if it's a performance upgrade as well, that's obviously a plus. Been looking at the Steeda progressive springs. Noticed that there's also linear springs though. Can anybody explain the difference...
