Base GT here. No spoiler delete. I actually like the little blade spoiler on the GTs. I do not however like the Ecoboost spoilers, I would have deleted that in a hurry if I was buying the turbo 4.
Right. The blade spoiler looks tasteful. That raised "pedestal" spoiler looks cheap and out of place on an otherwise clean set of sheetmetal.

I'm happy with the spoiler delete given that the rear decklid has a slightly sculpted kick up built into it. If I wanted a spoiler, it would be that small lip one.

No, it is not. This is the V6/EB spoiler. The GT spoiler is slightly more prominent. I opted to delete.
I see. The spoiler you referring to must be the raised one, since it not the one I was thinking.

Thanks.

I've seen two different spoilers on GTs, so I'm utterly confused. One is just a small lip and the other overlaps the trunk on the sides. I understand since some of the cars are prototypes....but which one is production intent?

It appears that the blade spoiler is for the v6 and EB and the GT gets the "raised" blade spoiler according to the dealer guides. However all the convertible pictures I have seen with a spoiler only have the blade spoiler regardless whether they are GT or not. I hope this isn't the case as I like the raised blade spoiler and want it on my convertible when I order.

<< - One of the few who enjoys the small spoiler shown on B&P - would like my PP GT in Guard to have one, but hardly a dealbraker. Here's hoping the aftermarket ones come with really good hole-drilling guides :-D.

I'm one of the few that likes the raised blade spoiler. I'll have the dealer install that on my vert when it arrives.

Wow, there really are some people that like the EB spoiler. I find it...odd.

The GT spoiler is still nothing special, but it's at least more than a plastic cutout.

I doubt I'll add one, but if I do it'll be something a little more pronounced. Otherwise, I don't see the point.

I'm with you. The "base" spoiler . . . isn't a spoiler or a ducktail. It's FLAT! What the heck?

I think the car would look good with a '69-style wing. The whole rear of the car is inspired by the 69-70 body, so a wing would fit right in. We'll see one on the aftermarket soon enough.

Oh. And window slats. Not that I'm buying them, but we'll see them.

Can't wait to see the first aftermarket Boss 302/69 Mach 1 wing for these cars. The rear styling is so similar the wing will look good.

I went back and forth on this. At time of order I decided to keep it but I still have time to change my mind. I do like that it's not a big ugly one like on some cars.

Does anyone know if there will be drilled holes or if (like on may lip spoilers) it's on with adhesive?

I opted for the spoiler delete to avoid unwanted holes in the bumper if ever an aftermarket spoiler that I liked came into production. I was debating on whether or not to install the Roush rear wing, but I've grown to like the clean appearance of the spoiler delete.

They are drilled holes.
