tire pressure is to low for that tire, raise it to 18psi and see how it does. you need some m/t et street r you will 60ft low 1.5 easy

your manual right? Im stalled auto on a 3.55 gear. 93oct. 3.6 pulley. And she’s a heavy girl. 4200 race weight. Id like to see a 9.99-10. But unless I can get the 1-2 shift worked out. I wont sniff that time. DA last night was barely negative. So I should pick up a 10th just do to the good air moving in.

Tires are 305-45/18 NTo5Rs running 15psi cold. And using a 5 second burnout.

What weather station are you using? I was there last night messing with my stock 18 in gamblers and my Computech was showing -300' after 6:00. Got as low as -600 or so when the temps dropped towards 45. Just wondering because sensitivity and calibration varies. My older Performaire station also reads quite a bit different but I like the Computech because I can dial off correction factor.

Agree that the prep was basically non existent. Atco is usually pretty good over the summer when I run the weekend points races but during T&T during cold weather it's sketchy. I was on shitty street tires so I wasn't expecting much but it definitely wasn't good for anything fast.

Prep has been bad every since the new owners took over. I had to work harder in the 95gt. When I was running in the points races. To get consistant 1.3 sixties. I wa there on the 12th. And hit low 1.5s on every pass. I just go by dragtimes for the weather & DA data.

Yeah, a lot of people have said the same. I didn't notice too much difference with my car but it's setup for marginal conditons. I'm typically 1.46-1.48 60' depending on the CF & DA but you notice when the prep changes. Over the summer we had a couple bad days where it was slow, but it was at least consistent. You should try on a weekend when they have T&T during an East Coast Stock/Super Stock meet, the track is like glue.

I started out very high on the RPMs. And spun like crazy. When the car was NA. I could flash it to 3500 and it would leave hard. (1.49-1.53) what seams to work best with this set up is to leave off idle. And go to the floor quickly. That usually nets 1.49-1.55 sixties. When the prep is good. But yea I’ve tried other launch RPMs. The launch isn’t the problem. It’s the spinning going into second that’s killing my ets right now. On the run I posted above. It’s was a oh shit kind of loose. Where the car started to move around. Instead of just a chirp in second. So I’m sure I lose at least a 10th on the et. When the car got upset.

I'm having the same 1-2 issue. I'm on the stock stall still w/ my setup, so it really wont 60' for me. 1.7's without any spin at all. Once I get into boost at the top of first though it starts spinning and then spins again early in 2nd gear. Gotta get that dialed in for next year! Good work on your end though, she's a beast.

Gears and where is it shifting? You might be shifting before 60ft therefore slowing you down.

I have 3.31's. I need to check the logs to see where exactly it's shifting. I had luck switching from the 28" tall tire to the 26" tire as far as my 60', gave me a .1 off there from the gearing, but it likes to spin like crazy @ the top of 1st and then into 2nd. My car just seems soft off the line, we had a heck of a time dialing in everything this year from my auto swap and all. 4c is my winter project though so we should cure that.

Front runners? Helps. I came close to seeing a little air on stock stall last winter. Going back when it cools down.

Spinning to a low 10. Hit atco tonight. As usual. Prep sucked. Best run of the night was a 10.33@135. Just got my 18 manifold installed. And was doing some data logs for Lund. The run pictured had a 10.1 written all over it. Til I blew the tires off on the 1-2 shift. Think im going to try cecil county. Before the season is over. Not having much luck with Atco this year. The car feels like a monster with the 18 mani.

I don't believe the car would have went 10.1 on that pass. Really hard to to say tho.
