Speed Limiter?

What's this I'm hearing that my new car won't go above 155mph? Is that true? Can't be true. I got to 187mph in my Vette. Tell me it ain't true.

I thought the limiter was 160, will have to look at the tune and confirm. Could be lower for base cars without the good tires.
Corvettes rarely have a speed limiter set below something ridiculous like 254 MPH.

I want to say mine stopped at 158 or something, was just below 160.

Dunno on the 18+ but on my 17 it was 166 mph on the nose (did the time over distance math).

Simple, if your going to track your car, get a tune to turn off or raise the speed limiter.

Order a tune and tell them what all you want.

Probably not many tracks where a stock or near stock mustang will reach 160 mph…
I’d be willing to bet you can get a full mile run in before hitting the speed limiter.
Simple handheld tuner will let you disable it.
