Hello everyone, I have a 2020 Mustang GT, fully stock. Just a catback and cosmetics. No tune or anything yet, I am planning on getting headers and CAI later on. But back to the point, I am looking to get new spark plugs, preferably NGKs. On CJPony parts they have 2 kinds, the (6509, which says for NA cars) and then there’s (6510, which says for boosted cars.) but also Autozone has these (4554) so what would be recommended for my car If I want to get the most and best out of but would also be compatible to my car?

I'd go with the Ruthenium plugs if staying NA

At 40K miles, I'm start to think mine are due.

Gotta take that damn strut tower brace off.

You can run the NGK 6510 plugs (one step colder than factory) on a NA setup. Iā€˜ve ran them in mine for over 3 years and they perform great. I do have nitrous on my car which was the main reason that I chose the 6510, however, the majority of the time my car has been on the Flex or E85R tunes (very little nitrous use; maybe a total of 4 bottles since I installed it on the car). I also just pulled them for the first time in over 3 years and they looked great (clean burn and the gaps even remained the same). If you foresee going with a power adder, I definitely recommend a colder plug.

Don't use the 4554, it only has 3/4 inch reach. The correct plug needs 1 inch of reach.

Stock plugs and gap for N/A, period.

Boosted - NGK 6510 gapped to whatever your tuner tells you.

Stock plugs for any NA setup, and 6510's for boost. Thats really it.

I like the 6510 N/A. The reduced gap is easier on the coils at high RPM and the slightly colder plug helps with LSPI (low speed pre-ignition)
