I’ve been running e85 for roughly 2 months on my 2019 mustang gt 10r80 with long tube headers and CAI, I’ve recently been getting the misfire code on my car and I’ve been reading around that people switch to NGK LTR6AHX and that fixes the issue, does anyone currently run these spark plugs with their car on e85? What spark plugs are recommended for running e85 on these cars? I’m currently on stock plugs and my car has 21k miles.

All help is appreciated 🙏🏼

The spark plug tips are white and the code is p0316
Dedicated e85 tune ? Looks like it's not getting enough startup fuel. Maybe Cali switched to a winter blend w/ less E content.

Yes dedicated e85 tune, I’m tuned by PBD, the gas station where I fill up all the time is being checked by others that I know too and they all say it’s fine so I’m really stumped, I ordered new NGK 91276 plugs to see if that can help.

At first I was getting a cylinder 8 misfire when all this first started happening so I switched the coil and plug with cylinder 7 to see if now maybe I would get a cylinder 7 misfire to narrow down what was wrong with it, now I get no misfire at a specific cylinder but I get a misfire upon start up. I’ve read in other threads that changing spark plugs and changing oil will help but I highly doubt that.

Change oil yeah cause gen 3 are notorious for the cam phasers going all stupid when the oil gets old. And IMO a plug is a plug. As long as it lights off your good. I still think it's startup fuel problem. Send a log to PBD.

Alcohol likes a tight gap.
Coils likes a close gap.
Misfires are more likely with wide gaps.
NGK plugs or stay on the porch.

Damn... forgot this was about E85. So I won't be gapping to .037" & stick with the stock heat range.

What was the final results with 93 & smaller gaps ?
IMO,
Low speed drivability.
Shorter cranking time to start.
Idle and low rpm smoothed out.

Honestly, you won’t know until you try. Results may vary but for the OP on the Sauce I’d go straight to closing up the gap with the plugs I listed.
Don’t close up the stock plugs. The LTR6IX-11 are gapped 11mm (.043) from NGK. Squeeze em down to .036”-.038”
