I did do a search and found so little info. So forgive me if this has been asked. What is considered the best spark plugs and gap for the 3.7 v6 Mustang?

If you don't like the stock ones, you could try NGK Iridium IX. I think most plugs come pre gapped now.

No idea. I just use the plugs that came stock since the performance is up to what I need it for. Are you just wanting to try something different or have you done mods on your engine? Either way I think the ones I mentioned would be a step up from the stock plugs. I have not changed plugs in mine yet but might try those when I do.

Don't trust spark plug pre-gap. Who knows what employee dropped those or what happened in the shipping process.

I would pick up whatever the NGK Iridium equivalent to the factory plug is. Then gap it to whatever the manual says. Unless you are boosted I don't see any reason to switch it up.

Lots of discussion on spark gap and spark plugs for the 5.0 and its kinda all over the place, and what others recommend is pretty much in the range of what factory calls for. I would get some quality NGK plugs and gap them to what the manual specifies.

You are correct to verify the gap on spark plugs. Just because something is new does not mean its right.

The only mods on mine is replaced The crossover front mufflers with crossover from Wakers
Removed the rear muffles with small glass packs turned the other way. It helped with the rasp and drone, I put a free flow resruable air filter. Got an 89 octane tune with a transmission shift firmed it can me made mild or wild shifting

Ya so fairly mild mods, especially on 89 octane. Buy quality plugs and gap to what ford recommends for the 3.7.

I have this question too and I can’t find the gap size anywhere in the owners manual
The newer plugs are pregapped. I am going with NGK ruthenium plugs from Rock Auto
