Have 2019 Whipple stage 2. Just confirming I should be running the NGK 6510's at 28thou gap and how often should I be changing these? I daily this car so it's got around 14k miles on this set. Just don't want to create any issues.

I thought whipple wanted like 20-25k miles. But tbh I would try to go quite a bit over that lol. Just pull them and check the gap every once in a while like 10-15k miles? The gap you run should come from your tuner. And check it yourself with a gauge

My boosted cars seem to have the gap widen faster than NA but so far just keep the gap within specs and keep rolling

I pull mine and re gap every 12 months. On year 2 for plug age. I'll have another set handy when I pull them again this winter but won't replace unless I can see wear. Minimal gap adjustment needed after 1 yr, 7k.

These Iridium tip plugs go much longer than most think. I’ve gone 60,000 on a set of Platinums on a boosted setup in the past with zero issue. No misfire, no change plugs……

Good to know because I gapped those Iridiums 6510's last night and swapped 7 of the 8, but that cylinder #4 is an MF'er.

I have to clean or change my plugs ever 10k max because I run so much octane booster. I use the spark plug socket, short extension, short flat head screwdriver and a magnet for #4. Flat head is to separate the extension from the socket. Pull it out with the magnet. It's nothing like the pain in the ass it was the first time dicking around with it trying to figure it out.

I pulled mine after 15k miles boosted, gap was actually smaller than what I had set them to, but the shop may have set them smaller than I had set. It was .022 I had set at .028, and my new ones are .028. Probably going to keep these for like 50k+ miles or until I notice some issue that could be caused by spark plugs.
