Gentlemen,
I recently got a Mach 1 HP fully loaded. I love the car and its fun to drive. I would love to really try it out on a track and just feel it as it was meant to be felt. Not trying to be competative or anything, but just learn more about driving and feel out the car. What would you guys say would be my best location in Socal to try it out for a novice? Ive been a drag racer all my life, driving as fast as a 9 second car down the strip, but this is all new for me. Any advice is welcomed.

I personally like Buttonwillow as a starter track but hadn't even thought about Streets of Willow since NASA doesn't go there almost ever.

I'll be at the Oct 10/11 Buttonwillow NASA as an instructor and would be happy ride along with you for the day. I'll even do my damnedest to bug Mr. @Ewheels to come hang out since we haven't seen each other in a minute! We have a lot of great Mustang guys that show up to each event so you're welcome to join the party.

My 2c is find a club at one of those tracks that provides in-car instructors for the novices (often at some extra cost)

You could get on track cheap with like Track Night and you’ll orobably have fun, but you’re not going to learn half as much.
