So right now I’m at the 800WHP mark. My end goal is around 1300WHP. The car is a manual right now and I need advice on if I should just build the manual or if I should go ahead and do an automatic swap. If I should go automatic should I build a 6R80 or go TH400? What’s your guys’s advice?

Build your MT82 and weld the shift forks. If you really want to make it strong, Cryo treat all hard parts.

What's your goal with the car? Do you want the fastest possible time at the track then go auto, want to keep banging gears and have a blast every time your drive then build the manual, I will personally have a manual sports car till im to old to deal with a clutch, best of luck which ever way you go

With the horsepower you are looking at you will tear that 10R80 apart. The MT82 may not handle it either but it will be easier, and cheaper, to put a strong 6-speed replacement in rather than an automatic built to handle that much horsepower.

Okay who should I look to get the built transmission from? If I go 26 spline how much will I have to replace? I already have a twin plate clutch so if I go 23 spline will that hold the HP goal I'm trying to reach?

T56 Magnum swap and call it a day. The t56 will hold up for quite awhile at that type of horsepower

I’ve got a 2020 that i’m currently in the process of putting a T56 in. I’m curious how you ended up wiring the transmission in? I’ve got the bowler harness but have read that it will not work with 2019+. I know that the Digi-Gear module is close to being finished so that I can retain the rev match/reverse camera, but I would at least like to drive the car around temporarily until that module is released.

That is a tricky install for sure. My setup is a 22’ GT and we have the t56 in right now.

My shop was Finish Line Performance in Loveland Ohio.

They installed a special module which tells the PCM the car is in a single gear.

I have no backup camera or rev match. That being said, I would not ever wanna go back to a mt82 Eve a fully built one

T56 Magnum XL is superior in every way. Did you see Tremec has recently come out with a direct OEM replacement for s550?
