ok you ask i will answer :D

effective IMMEDIATELY ...ALL 2015-2016 shifters will have the upper positioned .200" inches over to the drivers side which will center it.

as you can see .200 is less than a 1/4 of an inch but it is what it is and if it appeases potential customers then thats what it is all about....

IN ADDITION... even though again i will stress that it has ZERO effect on shifting performance, if ANYONE that has our current race spec wishes to have the updated upper and are willing to ship back the upper shifter part only ( don't need anything else.) we will swap it out and send it back NO CHARGE!!!

Whaaaaaaaat?? :eyebulge: Dang, that's awesome. That being said, I think I'll just keep mine; I don't think .200" is going to bug me one bit, especially since I don't even look at the shifter while driving.

Now I just need to find time to install it....

I just installed this shifter today and to tell you the truth if I had not read it here I would have never even noticed the centering....

I don't really look at the shifter anyway.

Everything went real easy once we decided to drop the drive shaft...takes a few extra minutes to do, but I think it saves you time overall.....its all real easy after that's out of the way.

Between the shifter, the 35lb clutch spring swap and AMSOIL Syncromesh fluid in..... its like a whole different car from Tuesday LOL!!!:clap2:

I don't even notice the MGW being a little off center. The only thing that I notice are the smooth shifts and never missing a gear even at 7800 rpms. If you are looking at your shifter while driving, you have other issues.

Awesome customer service George! I haven't installed my MGW yet and my car won't be out of storage until April so I'm gonna send mine in.

Because OCD...lol

The shifter sitting off center most likely wouldn't bother me, but I won't see my car for over a month and if I ever sell the car and shifter, having the latest version can only help.

Wow..that was quick. I'll be ordering the MGW shortly. That's some serious customer need adherence. From when I originally posted I wanted the MGW as it completely replaced inferior parts. Now that it sits center, its a no brainer. I think that adjustment will draw in more customers now that there are zero negatives for the product.

From a vendor point of view...why even have a reason for a customer not to buy. I obviously have no clue on the fabrication of these products, but if you could be able to adjust the process to eliminate any disadvantages, why not?
