I think the fuse is located in the Body Control Module (BCM).

Passenger Compartment Fuse Panel

The fuse panel is in the right-hand side of the passenger footwell behind a trim panel and plastic key code card.

To remove the trim panel, lift it from the rear retaining hooks, while pulling it toward you and swinging it away from the side. To reinstall it, line up the tabs with the grooves on the panel, drop the panel back into place, and then push it shut.

To reach the fuse panel, first remove the key code card.

After replacing a fuse, return the key code card to the original position. To reinstall the trim panel, lineup the tabs with the grooves on the panel, drop the panel back into place, and then push it shut to reinstall the trim panel.

That's where I checked, Earl, on the passenger side foot well. There was no fuse in #5 position.

I haven't had mine a day. Every time I turn the car on to move it while detailing it, I get the message that it is communicating data.

Yes, its a popup that lasts a few seconds and goes away. @Epiphany posted a pic of what it looks like.

The big screen. I don't know what the proper terminology is, but your nav, radio, etc.

I get the same message but I do have an option deselected in settings for how the data is used for insurance. There are I believe 4 options

The option I am going to use is to pull fuse #8 and get rid of the whole datalink.

Something's different here.

Copy the A/V display, Tom, whatever it's called and I did a couple three tests.

1) In the garage, ACC On, no messages other than my phone connected and 911 Assist Off.

2) Started the engine and backed out in to the driveway to get Cell/GPS signals.

Same two scrolling messages, nothing about phoning home.

3) Shut down, opened door to kill all power, then restarted.

Same results.

So, I don't know what you all are seeing but it's not happening on my car.

And David...

I had deselected the other options in Settings that you indicated but not the top two that control comms. Deselected all of them now.

Tom: I'm going to guess why I didn't see any message..I didn't have FordPass running. Haven't tested the theory but I will.
