Question for the group:

If I opt out of Ford Pass for my R, but wife stays in it for her EB, what happens?

I think we have separate Ford Pass Accounts. I will have to check that item though

Another question, just this year, we moved the Shelby's (R and 2007 GT500) to Grundy. Her EB and my Excursion are on AAA insurance.

Would Grundy take offense to my tracking? I stated I dont race and dont expect Grundy to cover the track event?

Thoughts?

1. If they are separate accounts, nothing. Your wife's account continues.

2. You don't race... trust me I've seen you drive.... lol, sorry.... couldn't help it.... seriously, HPDE is not racing. You did not lie to them if they asked "do you race". If they asked you "do you take your car on a track", thats another story. If you ask me, the point really is moot. You have your own track insurance. You would never file a claim on your street insurance.

Where it gets sticky is when you take a passenger for a ride and something happens. A lawsuit will ensue. I had my wife draft a pretty airtight liability waiver. If someone wants a ride, and she's hot, they sign the paper.

I've seen it done before, you don't have to be an instructor. When my students car caught on fire last year, his son was given a pink wristband so that his weekend wasn't a total loss.
