Looked in the manual and Im assuming it's the factory tire sealer that has expired. Says to replace it from a dealer.

That's all fine and dandy but how do I get the message to reset/go off?

Settings on the steering wheel, advanced, vehicle, Tire mobility kit and okay. Change it to 1, 2 or 3 years, then change it back to 4 years. Turn the car off & the next time you start, it should be gone.

Exactly. Change it in the menu to a lower year range, then back to 4 years. Re start the car and should go away. I don't even have a mobility kit anymore Got the AA spare for my PP GT and just swapped it over

+1- had the same thing, cleared it through the menu.
I bought the Ford OEM spare and jack on Amazon. Was shipped from a Ford dealer in Ohio at less than MSRP even with shipping. Got it in 3 days. I kept the mobility kit in the trunk; pump will work without sealant. Maybe overkill, but in the SW US you can be close to 100 miles from tire repair, and 2-3 hours from a flatbed.

Why the spare doesn't come as standard equipment is beyond me. And the blow up spare is a joke. Suffer a sidewall puncture or worse a bent rim and see how that works out for you.

Well it costs money to put the spare tire and jack in the trunk. Knowing Ford, it would raise the purchase price by $500. Also it adds weight, and Ford likes to boast about performance numbers, so they shave unneeded weight from the car. Me, I added a plug kit to my trunk. I don't trust sealant.

A spare is such a better option for the consumer.
I've plugged tires for years on cars, trucks, trailer, etc with zero issues ever.
Be aware though that if you plug a tire you're going to have a very difficult time finding a shop that will convert the plug to a proper patch. Most just won't do it for "liability reasons" or so they claim.
I don't understand the liability difference between pulling a plug and pulling a nail/screw/bolt before patching but that's what I'm told.
So, if you plug a hole be prepared to keep it for the life of the tire or buy a new tire.

I have this message come up every couple months, even though I reset the time to 3 years. Anybody know if you can kill it entirely with Forscan or anything?

Check the date stamp on the sealant cartridge. The maximum replacement interval that you can reset to is 4 years but the cartridges have a longer expiration period. My warning came on but the cartridge still had a year left. Ditto when I finally bought a replacement. The expiration date was 5 1/2 years down the road.

Just remember that you're plugging a tire in an emergency, to get home. On a high performance tire, I would replace it and not live with a plug or patch. Now having said that, like you, I have plugged many tires over the years and never had an issue afterward. Granted they were not high performance tires on a powerful sports car.

Warning came on, did the reset. Said nope not buying one. 2019 GT PP1.

I did the KIA 900 spare deal.
Opened center hole to fit hub and lug holes to use Toyota truck lug nuts flat washer VS. ford taper.

One day decided to try the pump on a lawn tractor tire, no problem right on a little low pressure tire.
Never been used from new still in the foam trunk insert when set aside, ran but no air.

I took it apart and found the yellow watery sealer to have migrated into the fill hose to seal it perfectly.
What a POS.
The way it looks to me if you did use it for a flat fix it is a one time disposable unit.
I doubt you can get the goo out of the fill hose that goes on the valve stem. I couldn't.

I removed the valve, fill hose and goo bottle to the trash they went.
I drilled and tapped for a nipple and adapted an air hose to it.
Might last for a tire or two, all crap plastic??
OK for bike or lawn tractor around the house not much more maybe?

I am pretty sure when looking over my daughters 2025 Ecoboost the goop was gone just a pump half the size of mine with no knob to turn on the goo.

Only had a couple flats in 57 yrs of driving and that setup would have not got me anywhere.
Like said above I am not waiting for a flatbed, then having to go on a tire hunt and then have to buy my car back.
A spare kit looks pretty cheap at this point.

I have been ordering the spare tire and jack since 2011. That stock blow up kit is a waste of my time. Place a spare tire in your trunk and call it a day.

Oddly, I have not received this message. I had the dealer supply the factory spare kit when I bought the car (new). I have the kit in a box in the trunk so I have an air pump. I wonder if the dealer went in and changed something so the car knows there is a spare?

I do not have a link I always added the wheel and tire to my ordered car. Contact any dealer they will get you the info on the wheel and tire assembly.
