Hello,

Is there a way to find out which settings are currently in use for the exhaust, suspension, etc.?
I know you can find out which drive mode you're in by pulling the mode switch once. But the drive mode itself doesn't tell you everything, because you can be in normal mode but with the AE set to quiet, for instance, or the steering set to sport.
Can I see the current settings somehow?

Thank you.

Yes - on the dash in the track apps there is Status screen (not 100% certain if it's in the track apps but you can get status screen on the dash for sure) - talking about standard dash, not the large one with fancy graphics.

I can’t remember how to get them on, but once they were up I struggled to get rid of them ... lol

Turning the motor on and off won’t do it. To get rid of them you need to go back to the gauge button and reselect it :like:

Seeing how it resets to default every time you start it only relies on you remembering what you have done today !

Plus setup a my mode for what you prefer ?

I want the exhaust to be in quiet mode when I leave or arrive home, but normal otherwise.

By default the car starts with everything, including exhaust, in Normal. So if I want it to start in Quiet, I must turn on the Quiet Start option. Which I did.
So immediately after starting the engine the car will be in the Normal drive mode, but with a quiet exhaust.
But once I leave the neighborhood I want to switch the exhaust to Normal.
Pulling the mode button once will display the current mode (i.e. Normal), but won't change anything (or will it?). If I keep pulling the switch several times until it gets to Normal again, will it now switch to a full Normal mode (that is, including Normal exhaust)? Or will it do nothing, on the grounds that I've returned where I had started from, so no change is needed? How do I know?

When I come back home I want to switch back to a quiet exhaust, which is why I configured MyMode with a quiet exhaust. That's why I can't use MyMode for switching to a normal exhaust after leaving the neighborhood. MyMode is already used for something else.
I'd need two MyModes.

I don't mind using the switch as many times as needed, but it would be nice if I could at least see what was happening.

The first time you pull the toggle it just makes the icon bigger but doesn't change anything.

I have set quiet start to be on 24 hours a day so mine always starts in quiet mode and then reverts to normal if you do nothing once you have driven off. It reverts to normal after about 200m or so. I have usually switched to My Mode by then.

I would suggest you do the same as me, set it to always be quiet mode on startup and it will then revert to normal as you drive off. I think it is called 'good neighbour' setting !

Press the key on the wheel that has the "Mustang" icon. Scroll to "MyMode" settings (or something like that), and you have the option of "Show mymode", "Show settings", or something similarly worded. It then displays the current settings.

To get back to the normal display, press the "settings" key on the wheel, and enable "trip computer", or something like that.

I'm confused.

You know your My Mode settings. You know what happens when you go from Normal, to Sport, and then to Track.

Under what situation do you not know what setting the exhaust/suspension/steering is in?

Really? It goes automatically back to normal? I didn't know that. I thought it not only started in quiet, but also stayed there until you changed it manually.

When I use the Quiet Start option. I'm not sure how that integrates with the Normal mode. Even though I'm in Normal (because that's the default at startup), the exhaust will be in Quiet. Will a subsequent selection of the Normal drive mode revert the exhaust to Normal as well? Probably, but I'd like to see it with my own eyes somewhere on the dash. :)

I’m a bit confused with one of the quiet mode settings too but I’m not going to clutter your thread with it - I need to do a bit more experimenting first :like:

Im not sure thats accurate, mine does not change back to normal. And I can easily tell since I have an aftermarket exhaust, it definitely stays in quiet. Edit: I didn't read you had to drive 200m, I hadn't tested that far since I always switch to MyMode. I will test that this morning.

The poster above was correct, if you hit the pony button and go to MyMode and select the option that lets you "set" a MyMode it will display the current options you have for steering/drive mode/exhaust and will stay on the dash until you switch to another display setting.

If I were you, to accomplish what you want, I'd just set MyMode to your normal driving habits, so Normal drive mode with Normal exhaust if thats your preference, and then when you're coming home just hit the pony button, select Exhaust and select quiet. The reverse is also an option, since it starts in Normal drive mode with quiet exhaust, just hit the pony and change the exhaust to Normal once you've left your home if you prefer to keep you MyMode with quiet exhaust.

It should. Try it out. Cycle the car to normal after it's Quiet Mode start, and then go look at see what the exhaust mode switches to.

Are you saying you don't know where to look to see what modes the exhaust, suspension and steering are in?

If so, you just have to look at each screen in the settings menu individually, and check the steering by hitting the steering switch.

Not sure if we're talking digital or standard dash, I guess that would make a difference. On the digital you can view all 3 settings at once on the MyMode setting screen.
