Hey guys, I currently drive a 2010 challenger RT. I ordered a mustang gt performance package on 12/10. I've got about 3 weeks left until delivery, but I'm having second thoughts.
I love my challenger, but wanted something more powerful from the factory, and a newer interior. I'm now torn between the gt or a new scat pack.
The pros of the gt:
Similar straight line performance.
Much better handling for track or twisty roads.
Cheaper price. With x-plan pricing my car is costing me $35500 OTD.
I personally like the styling of the 2015.
Track apps.
More aftermarket support.
Cons of the gt:
More cramped interior.
435hp vs 485.
Less torque.
Plain old gauges for speedometer and tach.
Pros of scat pack:
485hp 475lb-ft tq!!!
Awesome exterior and styling.
Nice interior and retro gauges.
Track apps/performance pages.
Cons of scat pack:
Very large.
Expensive for me. I couldn't afford anymore then an OTD price of $40000.
Anyone have any insight? I know I'll get some biased opinions on here, but I'll probably post this on challengertalk to get some equally biased opinions lol.
I really wish I could just have both haha.
Someone is going to comment on how the scat pack is only a straight line car but I'm ok with that, since ill probably only ever drag the car if I ever go to the track.
