Awesome thanks for all the input, I'll give it a shot.
Good to know. I'm planning to get my car sealed, people say the sealer repels water amazingly well. Just gotta wait for my dealership to fix a scratch on the car first.
So a few people have been telling me to stop washing my car the traditional way, buckets and hose, and switch to a no rinse wash. Is anyone familiar with no rinse washing?
I'm wondering how well does it clean and how nice is the shine? And is there a chance of debris scratching the paint...
While doing some "spirited" driving I think i figured out why the Mustang doesn't stop the car for you.
Currently the car will warn you by beeping and flashing a red light across the windshield, while priming the breaks if it thinks a crash is imminent. Once the breaks are primed you just have...
I'm betting you bought the badge from hamRheadCreations on Etsy? I was one of his guinea pigs with the 2014 badge on the 2015, I ended up pulling the studs and attaching it with 3M double-sided tape since the stud patterns are different. So can't say how easy it is to attach the nuts to the...
Just did the Saratoga to Alice's drive a few weeks ago. It was a blast was taking some of those turns at incredibly fast speeds, the car felt like it was on rails. The best part was the M3 behind me trying to keep up, THAT made my day.
I know the Mustang has a history of faux hood scoops, but damn am I the only one who finds all of them tacky?
I think scoops can look great on a car as long as it's functional, my last car had one. But I feel like slapping a fake hood scoop on the 2015 is no better than putting those fake...
You can buy everything you want painted from here.

I haven't purchased anything from them yet, so I can't vouch for em. I bought my painted emblems off ebay.
The process of removing the 5.0 badges is really easy.
1) Leave...
Right now I'm planning to just do bolt-ons so all the work will be done in my own garage unless I need a lift, since I no longer own jacks and don't have room for em. So far the only thing I didn't install myself was the exhaust, I had San Carlos Auto Performance handle that. Great shop...
That's where I'm going to take my car, eventually.
I'm right now waiting on an appointment at Ford to have a scratch fixed, then I plan to get the paint sealed with Opti Coat. So more than likely I won't get my vinyl until March.
I did a 2 day track training course a few years back, but I am planning to go to the Ford Racing school when I can get the cash and time off. I do it to be a better driver and for the fun, but I doubt my car will see much of a track.
I'm not really interested in shaving seconds off my track...
Defiantly stripes over the bra. There are few reasons, biggest one being if the stripe is damaged you don't have to remove the bra to fix it. The second is if you plan on getting matte stripes, the part under the clear bra would appear glossy.
For the heck of it I asked several people who...
Thanks! I'm defiantly interested in the sway bars. While your in this thread maybe you could share some details on the Steeda CAI? Like any word on what kinda power gains we might see?
Thanks again.
Awesome thanks for the feedback everyone. I'll probably have a closer look at the brace and sway bars and maybe down the road think about upgrading the struts and shocks.
And I'd like to change the springs and lower the car but here and the Bay Area thats just not an option for me, unless I...
I was looking at some suspension upgrade kits and was wondering how much of a difference would the kit make on the Performance Package? I know it would lower the car, but beyond that would there be a noticeable difference?
$795 is about the standard price for going up 1/3 on the hood. It's what I paid 4 years ago and its what 5 different installers said when asked over the phone. When one guy saw the car in person, he said it would be $900 just because the size of the front bumper.
I'm actually on the fence about...
