Where is my friend 'The Pill' when it comes to defending the Stang against Bimmers? He seems to only focus on the Camaro, which while I'm sure will be a good performer but is impossible to see out of and has a toilet seat hood.

It's time he started to compare Vs BMW!

I want to like bmws but working on them every day all day as a master tech i just cant do it. They're piles of trash when it comes to reliability. Unless its a 2002 or e30 m3 i just cant be bothered. Even though i like the m1 in theory, but thats just from an aesthetics point

The GT PP is clearly faster around a track. In a straight line the M235i has been nose to nose in every race I've seen with a mustang...

I'm betting we see the M2 is going to fit in between a GT PP and a GT350

I cant wait til i get an m2 in my bay so i can laugh.
Had to replace mine on the 135i thank God I had an extended warranty - if memory serves me it was like $675 :frusty:

Manual M2 Vs GT-PP manual (which is the only version I care about) will be an interesting match for sure for me. I dont think any 'walking' will be going on.
Personally, I think the M2 will be an exciting fun car, but overpriced, horrendous to own in the long term and pretty ugly, especially the rear, rear 3/4th view and the overstyled front. I do love the side profile, while not sleek and sexy as the S550, it does service to the 2002 and the 1M coupe with the stubby profile. I am dying to drive it though, along with the GT350 and Focus RS. All get my salivating....
Personally I think the M2 looks great. But I know, looks are subjective. Also, the M2 is rumored to start at $51k USD which I think is fantastic value. 90% M4 performance at 3/4 the cost. Not to mention in a smaller, more tossable package.

I agree for the price, compared to the m4 it is a better value.
