Hey guys, been a lurker for a bit. Just introducing myself under these sad times. Lol. My 16 GT Deep Impact is in the shop because of clutch issues. I was driving and went to shift into 6th and my clutch pedal dropped to the floor and grabs at the bottom. In first there is tons of chatter and it jerks around. Hopefully it's covered under warranty. Someone is probably gonna say wrong sub but this was just more of a vent lol Its only been down since Friday but damn I miss driving it.

Welcome officially and hopefully it’s not a major issue. Most likely the clutch master cylinder or clutch line failed if you lost pressure. Probably not an issue with the clutch itself.

If it's still under the factory, or an extended warranty I can't imagine that it would not be covered. Good luck.

Hopefully they cover it but typically clutches are wear and tear items like brakes and not covered. Unless you’re extremely low miles or something. However, a master cylinder or clutch line should be covered if that is the culprit and you are still under warranty. Hope you get it back quickly!

I'm dreading the day when I will have to replace my clutch 🙄

I'll probably get the parts and have my friend help me install it since I don't have warranty anymore. That's the price I pay for driving so much :)

This is just the price one pays to have that magical connection between man and machine.

Yeah I am hoping it's the cylinder, hell it can be the slave for all I care, as long as it's not the clutch itself haha

It's under factory and I also have a full wrap aftermarket, that covers all the gaps of the factory. For less than $1k it was so worth adding the extra protection. I already had my AC go out after the 3/36k and it was covered. Whew

Yeah, I am hoping if it was clutch then it was catastrophic failure and still covered. But overall I am thinking it is something else. Because if it was clutch only then I wouldn't have been able to get it into each gear gate but I could still shift and it grabbed low. So hopefully it is something with the system itself.

I am ok doing the clutch work but it definitely wasn't just clutch because of the loss of pressure on my clutch pedal. So I figure if it's covered then bring it in and see what they can do. I also just don't have the time to do a full diagnosis of the clutch...damn you work!!! Lol wish I were rich to not care. 🤣
