Everyone should email the Mayor of Myrtle… she should be concerned with cleaning up the junky old hotels, curbing crime and dealing with growing homeless. Can you imagine how much revenue will be lost. Typical bureaucrats

That is ridiculous. When it spans 40 states and grows to that extent the revenue loss will be amazing. Sorry for you folks there. Hopefully they can move it out of Myrtle Beach and close by where somebody wants all that money. And fun. This dumb ass can’t be the mayor everywhere.

Why doesn’t the Mustang Museum want to sponsor it…. After all, one would think that would be the perfect “going forward “ venue…

There has been talk of a new group taking over and moving Mustang Week but nothing of any substance. It would be a major undertaking and a logistics nightmare. It was a labor of love for the original organizers. As far as the folks in Concord, that would be a hard no. Not interested.

But spring break and the trashing that area takes from that is fine in their eyes.
Tell me about it. Went up there once from CHarleston when I lived there, not sure which was a bigger shit hole, MB or Panama City Beach.

Seriously? This coming from someone who’s entire state is a shithole?

Sorry Jason, I had too. Yes, as in any tourist area there are less desirable parts but overall MB is a great place. Just like the great state of Alabama!!

LOL, OK dude. Our beaches are so bad, its why people from La, Tx and Miss flock here 7 days a week for 4 months. PCB and MB are shit holes compared. There is a reason you cant drink one the beach in PCB now during certain times of the year, the kids trash it. MB is the same way. And also, after living in Charleston, MB is def a shithole.

Check out Fairhope, Orange Breach, and Gulf Shores, and then get back to me.

Yep, this right here. This decision should surprise no one. Loud pipes and burnouts cannot peacefully coexist with tree hugging snowflakes and there are a lot more of the latter than those who like the former. Economic impact means nothing to the people supporting the new woke political/social agenda.

Just posting here to keep the thread in my alerts. Anyone on the forum know who the organizers are? I'd be interested in going where ever they land next.

They'll figure it out to some extent when local businesses feel the lost income and fold up.

Here in MN, northern resorts have been slowly going extinct for a long time, and the properties end up broken up and often sold to the wealthy, who build huge lake homes that are used once or twice a season. Suddenly, the local business income drops off because the resort tourists that used to pay the bills all year are gone.

Listen to these. The reasons go much further than just the mayor of MB.
