That's funny you mention Guilford County... That's exactly where I am lol. I've seen several of the Mustang GT fleet out and about. The funniest thing is when you see a Challenger or Charger pulled over by a Mustang with lights in the back of it. The first time I saw this scenario was several months back. I chuckled at the sight and then gulped and came to the realization I shouldn't accept bait anymore because that bait could be a cop.

Indiana has them, variety of colors, no markings. Stealthy! Two funny encounters:

1. came along side one on the interstate - I could tell it was one based upon the flashers located around the license plate, that was the only tell. Officer had a flannel shirt hanging up in the back and had the sleeve draped over his uniform so he looked like a regular joe.
2. "Pushing it" trying to get to see my daughter for dinner (home for 3 days - I'd been gone for two) came off the interstate "hot" turned south heading to another exit (almost to destination) and radar detector goes off full tilt. He's in front of me (all black, tinted windows) and starts braking, I realize and start braking too. Come along side of him and motion I'm pulling over. He had yet to turn lights on. We have a nice conversation - Trooper - had you at 60 (in a 40), me - don't doubt it..... Ask me about my record - clean. Asks why ....... I explain. Comes back - hands me my docs back and says have a great dinner.... NO ticket.

Haven't seen any here. But the Kansas Highway Patrol are now running unmarked Challengers. A couple of the Hellcats.

we have these lovely guys in Florida. Upgraded R/T’s I believe. They are impossible to discern when they are behind you, unless you catch the tan roof in your mirror. But the light has to be perfect. Ask me how I know lol

The ones here are completely unmarked. All of the lights are on the inside or behind the grill. With both forward and rear facing radar apparently. Sneaky bastards.

I think the Mustangs were a PR exercise. In Victoria there’s a lot more BMW’s for HWP and Kia Stingers for general duties, with a mix of Camry’s for good measure. Here in Qld I’ve seen a lot more Kia’s and Camry’s doing patrol duty.

Only a matter of time until they start needing funds for ferraris because the mustangs aren’t fast enough.

I've seen a couple completely undercover GTs here in South Florida. Same with the Challengers (and Chargers of course) on the Florida highways. Gotta be careful around everyone these days. I always run a radar detector/Waze when I'm on I95 or the turnpike.
