one lap at a time.Does this thread get updated anymore?
That is a real good time for a Mustang at CMP. I consider it my home track, and go to about 12 events there a year and rarely encounter a mustang in the low 1:40's that is not on race slicks.Year/Make/Model/Trim: 2019 Shelby GT350 (mostly stock)
Track/Course: Carolina Motorsports Park
Best Lap Time: 1:42.572
Tires (Size & Model): Goodyear F1 SC3R 305/30/19

Thanks. I felt pretty good about it. The tires were fresh and the conditions were ideal. @o-man set a very similar time in the same session in his Bullitt. That is a real good time for a Mustang at CMP. I will be at Road Atlanta that weekend for the NASA event. Will be back to CMP on 12/17 for an Open Throttle track day. This will be there 1st time at CMP but I have done there events at Robeling Road and its a lot of fun. Its a small limited group of 30 max and open track all day less lunch.Thanks. I’m not in a big hurry to burn through the tires I have, but moving to slicks is tempting.
I haven’t committed yet, but I’m considering another trip to CMP the first weekend of December. Tar Heel Sports Car Club. Interested?
