I don't know what the deal is with those dark colors and convertibles. Quite honestly, I think this generation already looks blah in coupe form in all of the 100 dark greys and dark colors that seem to be puzzingly popular, but then with verts the blah factor is x1000. For a vert, go CO, or race red, or trippe yellow or SOMETHING... The dark color thing just isn't working anymore for me. Sea of boring black, grey, and silver cars out there
I agree, totally. Of course I`m biased since I ordered my S550 Convertible in the Color Mustang was always designed for, "Race Red".

Since I ordered my TY convertible, I have been paying more attention to cars colors.
It looks like 90-95% are either grey or some other subdued earth tone. No individuality at all.

I was so torn on my color and was originally thinking magnetic. But the more I looked at the car, the lines, the contrast in colors, I am so happy I went with Oxford White. The contrast is so beautiful.

Decided to switch from Magnetic to Deep Impact Blue a couple of weeks back. The Blue has good pop in a classy sort of way, really think it is a rich and beautiful color. Like Magnetic in the sun, but in the shade or under the clouds it disappears which I am not looking for.

I have to be honest. When there are only a handful of color options as well as really only a handful of trim options in general even your TY is really not individual. Where individuality comes in is aftermarket. What ford provides is cookie cutter. I personally chose black because I like the look of it with my red interior. It is also the perfect background for exterior mods. With TY you will very limited with any aftermarket cosmetic things you do to the car.

Race Red is the COLOR, just wish they had white top and interior like the '65's.

I personally would pass on a White Convertible Top. Had one on my 94` Mustang Convertible on a similar Rio Red and after a while, it showed the crease lines that were impossible to remove. A Reddish Fabric Top or Beige might have worked too. I can live with the Black Top but the Ebony Black Interior, not so much. Stone, Ceramic, Beige, Light Grey, anything but show the dust, lint and Dog hair/dander Black. Boring............

I`ve been bashing Oxford White for years now (but) must admit, on this S550 Convertible, it does look pretty nice. Imagine how sweet it would look with a luxurious Wimbleton White finish?

I rather like the new convertible, looking least like a converted coupe than most Mustangs with its very clean deck and low stack height. I tend to be a coupe man myself -- lower weight, greater rigidity, lower costs, less to go wrong -- but could certainly content myself with a 2015 GT Vert.

This will be my third convertible and I believe the best looking one. I have a CO GT Premium ordered that hopefully will be here 1/25. Some people like coupes and others like to enjoy a little wind and sun so that's why Ford makes both. My current one is Race Red but thought I would change it up a bit. Considered Magnetic but a bit too dark.

the vert doesnt look that great with the top up, but with the top down, it looks ok. plus it solves that headroom issue our fastbacks have.

Lets face it, "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder". Us Convertible lovers think it looks infinity better then the Fastback/Coupe with its Top up or down, case closed.

+1. Cars weren't born with tops. Magnetic Vert for me. Look is awesome. Check out the 65 Vert on the convertible orders thread. That's the original Mustang.
