My caps arrived today. Got the postcard last Friday. Placed my order 9/4, built 1/5 and delivered 1/14. Haven't tried them yet because it is cool here today in PA. Nice bag to store them in as well since that is where they will probably be most of the time accept for longer trips.
No problem with mine yet but only have 175 miles. Seems to shift easy with no thuds. Will see what happens in the next few hundred miles. Pretty cold this week in PA.
I enjoy reading your posts. It was tough enough waiting for my car to finally be scheduled. Can't imagine waiting as long as you had to after yours was built. My EDD was 1/25 but kept moving up. I knew it had arrived before my dealer did! Wish I were in Florida where there isn't snow.
I'm in Shiremanstown. About 8 miles from Dillsburg. Got my CO Vert on 1/15. Ordered 9/4. Loving it so far but not looking forward to the snow on the way.
My CO Premium Vert is here! Picked her up yesterday. Ordered 9/4; built 1/5; and delivered 1/14. Picked her up yesterday. Much more refined than my 2011. Very quiet and smooth riding. Manual seems to shift fine so far. I hadn't driven a manual for 8 years but you never forget how. All panels...
This will be my third convertible and I believe the best looking one. I have a CO GT Premium ordered that hopefully will be here 1/25. Some people like coupes and others like to enjoy a little wind and sun so that's why Ford makes both. My current one is Race Red but thought I would change it up...
Finally got my VIN today for GT Premium Vert Comp Orange MT. Looks like a build date of early January. Ordered 9/4. Had hoped for a Christmas present but can wait another month or so.
Congrats Tony! The car looks great. I almost went with Magnetic and Saddle but chose CO instead because orange is my favorite color. Enjoy the ride and keep posting updates. I enjoy reading your comments because they are very helpful.
There will be at least two of us loving our convertibles. This will be my third and best by far and I can't wait. Nothing like driving on a sunny day and enjoying the wind and listening to that sweet Coyote howl:headbang:
Looks like convertible scheduling is like the coupes. My order for a GT CO was placed on 9/4 and I've got nothing but someone orders on 10/15 and have a Vin and build week. Ford Service says try again next Thursday. Oh well, I waited for 3 1/2 months for my 2011. Looks like the wait will be even...
I have the Roush axleback on my 2011 and it sounds great. A nice deep tone and when I fire it up it causes people to take notice. Doesn't drone when cruising and sounds really aggressive when you get on it.
I just ordered the standard 18 inch wheels. I think they look nice. I also think that CO will be a one year color but that's okay, makes it that much more rare.
I ordered a CO convertible on 9/4. My last two have been Race Red but orange is my favorite color so going for it this time. I'll be 58 in a few weeks but a guys got to have his toys! Magnetic would be my second choice.
I ordered my CO GT Premium convertible on 9/4. I don't have anything showing up on COTUS yet. This one will be a manual as I will soon be 58 and want to have a little more fun with this one.
Maybe I will actually get my convertible by Christmas now. I was finally able to place my order on 9/04. I went through this wait back in 2010 while waiting for my 2011 to this arrive and I survived. I know the wait is frustrating but from what I have read and seen this car is going to be worth it!

Hi all,
Been lurking here for 3 months enjoying reading all the info. I have never belonged to a forum before. I live in central PA and I am 57. I have owned 26 Ford cars and trucks including 4 Mustangs. :ford: I currently have a 2011 GT Vert in Race Red that I love. Impatiently...
